I cannot believe I’m sitting down to record this episode. Honestly, I didn’t think I would ever host a solo show. For years, podcasting was something I did with a co-host, and when I left my last company, I thought that part of my life was over. But here we are. Episode zero of Sell the Damn Service. And I am so freaking excited.
This podcast is for one-on-one service providers. Period. If you’ve been looking around the online business world, you know exactly what I mean when I say there are a million resources out there for courses, memberships, funnels, and tiny digital offers. But if you actually like working with your clients and delivering your service, there hasn’t been a space carved out for you. That changes today.

There are two things I’ve seen hold true since I started in business back in 2011:
There are very few resources for service providers who want to stay service providers. You don’t have to add a membership or launch a course to have a successful business. You don’t have to build an empire to be legitimate. You can like your business the way it is and still want to optimize it.
Services are the lever to pull when you want more money without working more hours. Every single time I’ve started fresh or pivoted, I’ve gone back to services. When I left my company with no audience and no community, I sold one-on-one services and replaced my salary in five months. That’s not an accident.
So if you’re wondering, “Okay, but what about capacity, productization, pricing, or hiring?”, that’s exactly what we’re covering here. This podcast is the place where I’ll be yelling business strategy at you on Tuesdays and having deep, unscripted conversations with other service providers on Thursdays.
